Acura Mdx Are The Transmissions On A 01 Acura Mdx Attached To The Engine?

Are the transmissions on a 01 acura mdx attached to the engine? - acura mdx

I've heard that the transfers in Acura MDX 01 is a is firmly attached to the engine, so if tranmsissions be replaced, would have both the engine and transmission removed Relac engine. Is this true or is it a different way to the transmission without removing the engine with them?
