Carbon Monoxide Detector Battery Carbon Monoxide Detector Battery In Basement?

Carbon Monoxide Detector battery in Basement? - carbon monoxide detector battery

How does the battery work on my carbon monoxide detector in my basement ever need to be changed? We need to change the batteries in existing detectors every 3 months or when it starts a little sound. Is it because it is cooler in the cellar, and helps the battery last longer? We have tested and works well.

Good question. Kinda now ask. We had a carbon monoxide detector in the basement for years and have not changed our battery is not. I just checked and still loaded. Batteries should be special, but again, if yours is on the wall as I may be a source of electricity and do not use the battery. It could be!
